The goal of this conference is to bring together wildlife scientists and veterinarians from all over the world interested in diseases of free-ranging and captive animals, and to present the latest advances and stimulate future research in this topic. To this aim, the selected plenary talks and workshops will cover a diverse range of fascinating topics such as animal welfare and enrichment, wildlife rehabilitation, infectious diseases, surgery, handling and treatment methods and conservation, among many others.

The Venue

The conference will take place in the Parc Hotel Paradiso in Castelnuovo del Garda, the workshops (16th May 2012) will be held in the Parco Natura Viva in Bussolengo, Italy.
Bussolengo, a commune in the North of Italy is ideally located between the splendid natural scenery of the Lake Garda in the west (distance approx. 10 km) and Verona in the southeast (distance approx. 15 km).
