Does it creak or wobble? Is it ortho or neuro? A no nonsense practical approach to gait disorders!

The diagnostic approach to gait abnormalities can be challenging and confusing – is it ortho or neuro? Both? A logical step-by-step approach to the diagnosis and management of gait disorders can simplify your daily work life.

During this one day CPD course we will discuss this approach by using real cases. We will also show and teach you tips and tricks you will not find in any textbook. At the end of the course you will be able to differentiate orthopaedic from neurological disorders and if both are present to identify the main problem of the dog or cat at the time of presentation. You will also understand why identifying the site of the lesion is important in your diagnostic work-up and how an understanding of pathophysiology can help you in your work-up. And finally, you will get a good grasp of current diagnostics and therapeutics for the treatment of certain acute as well as chronic gait disorders in dogs and cats.
