The aim of this three day course is to provide a comprehensive overview of equine scintigraphy through a mixture of lectures and reading sessions.
Day 1 is tailored to newcomers to equine scintigraphy and clinicians who would like to refresh their knowledge of the theoretical and practical basics.
Day 2 and 3 will provide an in-depth knowledge of the scintigraphic appearance of disease in the different anatomical locations in comparison to normal variations.
The decision making process in equine diagnostic imaging will be discussed and there will be the opportunity for delegates to communicate their own findings. The course will be led by world experts in the field who will share their experience of scintigraphy, its value in the clinical context and how they interpret the images obtained.
