Echocardiography has advanced at an accelerating rate over the past ten years, with many new applications in veterinary cardiology. This course is specifically designed for experienced echocardiographers who would like to refine and update their skills, including RCVS CertVC holders or candidates, radiologists, internists, or residents.

The course will be divided into detailed theory sessions and a practical hands-on scanning session. Lectures will cover an integrated approach to the morphological and haemodynamic assessment of canine and feline patients with cardiac disease, including use of newer Tissue Doppler techniques. This course may be particularly useful for CertVC holders on the VCS auscultation list, who wish to be accredited for heart testing and screening by Doppler.
