This six week online course is designed to equip clinicians in small animal practice with the knowledge and skills required to apply logical clinical problem solving skills to some of the important problems that present in small animal practice. Participants will not only develop a logical problem based approach to medical cases but will also improve their skills in assessing clinical pathology and critically reviewing clinical data in relation to internal medicine.

It is suitable for all clinicians in small animal practice who wish to develop a more logical and thoughtful approach to medical cases including veterinarians returning to small animal practice from career breaks. Course materials are a combination of course notes, case assessments and discussion forums in which participants review and discuss cases with their colleagues. The course is open to any veterinarian interested in developing a logical approach to medical cases. It will also be of value to veterinarians preparing medical case reports for the RCVS CertAVP - Small Animal Practice Module B-SAP.1 and C modules in small animal medicine. Participants can earn up to 36 CPD hours if the course is completed fully.
