This two day course would be ideal for general practitioners who would like to review their surgical knowledge, vets returning to small animal practice after a break or new graduates. It will involve lectures, video clips of surgical demonstrations and cadaver practicals. There will be introductory lectures to discuss each surgical procedure including information on clinical signs, differential diagnosis and diagnostic techniques. The pre and post-operative management would also be reviewed.
The first day will be lecture based with videos of surgical procedures, the second day will include imaging and cadaver practicals. There will be lots of opportunities throughout the day to ask questions and practise techniques
