Practical animal handling skills, alongside practical land-based skills. Students will also gain an understanding of Health Safety, working in a team and personal social development. Practical assessments and written assignments are set continually throughout the course. Students need to have obtained 2 GCSEs at grade G or higher or Entry Level 3 at least and you must be keen and interested. There will also be an interview.
Who is it for?
If you have an interest in plants, animals, fl oristry, science or environment, this course will provide you with the basic knowledge and understanding to progress on to a higher level course.
