This two day highly practical course has been developed for practitioners who have some experience with abdominal ultrasound but are seeking guidance to reinforce their theoretical knowledge and structure their practical approach to a basic abdominal ultrasound. The course is also suitable for complete beginners as the workshop groups will be organised according to experience.
The two days will consist of lectures followed by practical scanning sessions.
Day 1

13:30 - 14:30 Practical - adrenals, lymph nodes and peritoneum
14:30 - 15:00 Ultrasonography of the reproductive tract
