Date: Wednesday 12th July, 2017 - Wednesday 12th July, 2017
Start time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: 1 hour(s)
Cost: £49

The Survival Tips day will start with an introduction to the CertAVP and how to get started at the RVC, followed by a detailed look at the A-FAVP.1 module. There will be a talk on effective reflectove writing and a presentation from the RVC Library to explore what is available online and how to make best use of literature search facilities. There are Q&A discussion forums for B and C modules, run by the relevant module leader, and you will also hear from CertAVP candidates who have passed the CertAVP (‘survivors’), speaking about their experiences.

The Clinic is designed for those veterinarians already enrolled on the CertAVP. Morning workshops will include face-to-face time with module assessors, informal chats with CertAVP ‘survivors’ and library staff and feedback from the CertAVP Manager on your current position. You can also sit in on the reflective writing and library talks, or choose to spend time in the library. The informal workshops are designed for those seeking more specific module guidance.

Who is it for?

This day is designed for two types of CertAVP candidates. The CertAVP Survival Tips day is for any veterinarian interested in the CertAVP, whether they are newly enrolled or not. CertAVP Clinic is for candidates already enrolled and part/mid way through their studies. The programmes are run concurrently, so you are able to pick and choose the workshops to suit you.
