Oral diseases are the one of the most frequent problems seen in our pets today. Up to 80% of our patients demonstrate some sign of pathology! Fortunately, vets and nurses are showing a growing appreciation of the widespread effects periodontal disease has on the health of an animal.
From the initial checks and diagnostics, to monitoring, recovery, and homecare, a well-trained veterinary nurse can make a significant difference to the outcome of a dental case.
This one-day course aims to provide a sound knowledge base to improve your confidence and skill in handling periodontal issues in the companion animal.
Course Objectives:
The small group nature gives an excellent student-tutor ratio and interaction is encouraged on topics of interest or concern. Participants should leave informed and enthusiastic to further their involvement in dentistry with an expanded quality and range of services available to clients at their clinic.
Who is it for?
This course is suitable for qualified veterinary nurses with an interest in veterinary dentistry.
