This course is aimed at more experienced veterinary surgeons. Multiple case examples will be used to illustrate how to select the most appropriate fixation technique for your clinical cases. Internal and external fixation will be covered as well as how to avoid complications and how to deal with them effectively should they occur. The advantages of locking implants and minimally invasive techniques will be discussed and there will be lots of ‘tips and tricks’ from an extremely experienced speaker. Bone grating techniques including a review of new commercially available allografts will also be reviewed and the day will end with a fun fracture quiz to show you how much you have learnt!
