Who is it for?
The Certificate in Equine Skills level 1 qualification provides a clear and comprehensive certification at level 1, that is directly relevant to both the needs of the equine industry and the individual learner. It is a qualification, which has been designed and developed to specifically relate to people who enjoy working with horses but are not ready or able to study for a full NVQ 1 qualification. It provides a stepping stone between entry level and a full NVQ level 1 qualification. Enables a student to receive formal recognition of the skills that they have achieved prior to progressing onto a full level 1 qualification. It is achieved through continuous assessment of the learner's practical performance in the workplace.
