Eye problems are less common in the cat than the dog. They are, however important to the patient and client, they are often unique to the cat and they are always interesting. We will begin with a brief reminder of anatomy and examination and an update on the best use of ophthalmic drugs. We will then cover important eye conditions of the cat contrasting them with the dog indicating how to get the best results with medical and surgical management in both species. The course aims to be practical and relevant to the first opinion practitioner and will be well illustrated throughout.
