Start time: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: 2 hour(s)
Cost: £750
This 2-day course is designed to provide practical hands-on experience for practitioners who are keen to develop their small mammal skills further. It starts out providing a solid grounding in common clinical presentations in ferrets, rodents and hedgehogs, including details on critical care, anaesthesia, respiratory diseases and gastrointestinal conditions – all of which are vitally important to get sick small mammals better quicker.
This is followed on the second day by a series of practical cadaver sessions including ferret clinical techniques, ferret insulinomas and adrenal gland disease, soft tissue surgery and rodent dental techniques. These classes present a unique opportunity to develop skills which are otherwise rarely offered.
