A practical update, refresher or introduction to current H&S requirements and legislation including radiation, anaesthetics, waste regulation, COSHH & Risk Assessments, fire safety, staff safety protocols and medicine legislation compliance. There will be a practical session on complete risk assessment and the opportunity to share best practice with colleagues. The day will finish with an H&S Clinic with an experienced panel of practitioners and lawyers.

How to review and interpret the profusion and confusion of waste regulations and write and implement a waste policy
How to undertake risk assessments within your practice
How to plan and implement COSHH procedures within the practice
How to use the prescribing cascade effectively, and why reporting adverse reactions is important
