Patients with infectious diseases walk into the practice on a daily basis sometimes we are aware of it, sometimes we highly suspect and sometimes we have no idea. This half day course will discuss some of the most common infectious diseases, how they should be approached from a nursing perspective, and how we can prevent spread of the diseases. We also need to be able to educate our clients regarding ongoing care.
