Numbers are limited to allow each delegate to have use of an individual high quality diagnostic microscope. Each case will be reviewed using the digital projecting microscope to demonstrate the features of each slide.

This course provides an opportunity to develop skills in cytological interpretation. The day will begin with a lecture addressing the role of cytology in the diagnostic process, the collection of cytological samples and the basic approach to examination of cytology specimens. Thereafter, each delegate will work through a series of cases and initially make their own diagnosis on the set of cytological slides provided. The instructor will be available for questions on specific aspects during this time.
