Equine MSK Anatomy And Function

This practical one-day hands-on course will focus on linking anatomy and function in the horse, with a focus on the forelimb and its attachment with the thorax. The course has interactive tasks to explain the biomechanics and anatomy. Delegates will be able to perform an ultrasound examination of cadaveric horse limbs, followed by dissection. There are also stations on museum specimens of key areas of the MSK system in order to strengthen the understanding of MSK anatomy, function and disease.

Who is it for?

This course is designed for people with horses in a professional capacity, e.g. physiotherapists, veterinary physiotherapists, animal science course educators/students, veterinary nurses, veterinary surgeons and osteopaths.
