This course is aimed at student and qualified veterinary nurses who wish to update and expand their knowledge when nursing rabbits in practice. There will be an overview of rabbit anatomy, physiology and husbandry, including exercise, environment enrichment, life stage variations, nutrition, vaccination and neutering. The roles of husbandry and diet in disease and emergencies will be discussed, followed by detailed sessions on surgical nursing.
