A neurological emergency involving a distressed cat or dog can be a very stressful experience – for the pet, the owner and the vet. Appropriate management and treatment of a patient in the early stages post-trauma or a fitting patient is vital for the long term prognosis.
This course will give nurses more knowledge to be confident in dealing with these difficult patients.
Who is it for?
This course is suitable for all veterinary nurses; from student nurses to qualified experienced nurses working in general practice or emergency clinics.
The Speakers
Louise O’Dwyer DMS, BSc(Hons), DipAVN (Medical), Dip AVN (Surgical), NCert(A&CC), RVN <br /> Louise is Head Veterinary Nurse in one of the UK’s largest emergency veterinary clinics. Louise has written a book on wound management and is a regular speaker at veterinary congresses.<br />
