This practical hands-on day course will focus on the basic need-to-knows of reptile medicine. The course will provide an overview of husbandry, clinic requirements, and the clinical skills required to ensure you meet day 1 skills in dealing with the most commonly seen reptiles – Mediterranean tortoises, Bearded dragons, and Royal pythons. Common diseases will also be covered, with a focus on infectious disease.

Who is it for?

This course is designed for veterinary surgeons with all levels of experience. It will provide a basic level of knowledge for those interested in making a start in the exotics’ field as well as practitioners less interested, but still encountering these commonly kept species
