COURSE SUMMARY
Vet Nurses and Techs are becoming increasingly responsible for nurse-led clinics, and therefore in directly communicating with and advising clients. Reception staff have to utilise effective communication during most of their working day. But how confident are we in this face-to-face and unpredictable environment?
Communication can also have an enormous impact on client compliance and the resulting clinical outcomes - so how do we ensure we get it right?
This course will cover some key aspects of communication skills including consultation structure, assisting with euthanasia appointments, and admission and discharge procedures.
