Many of us perform consultations in practice, but even if not, this module will still assist you with the multitude of aspects of communication with your clients.

Our approach is to provide fully structured, fully supported, collaborative online CPD (ePD), which allows you to learn alongside others in your profession, from the comfort and convenience of your home or office.

All ONCORE modules are 6 weeks in duration, and involve great learning techniques such as discussion forums and creation of new protocols to take back into practice!

Effective communication with our clients is a core skill that not only improves the client experience and our own job satisfaction, but the clinical outcome for our patients. This module will cover some key aspects of communication skills including consultations, assisting with euthanasia and bereavement, and discharge procedures.

Learning techniques:

• Research and discussion group work
• Evaluation of your own style and experiences
• Creation of new protocols to assist you in the future
• Critical reflection to aid progression
