Start time: 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM

Are you doing everything you can in your clinic to promote hygiene and maintain infection control standards? It's so important that everyone in the clinic knows what they should be doing - when, how and why! Also, if you're in the UK, how do you ensure you meet the new guidelines in the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme? What about those high-risk infectious cases? What would you do if a patient contracted MRSA?

Infection control is a vitally important aspect of veterinary practice life, but is often an area that is often overlooked, or poorly adhered to. This fully tutored module will look at various aspects of infection control within veterinary clinic - from the concept of infection control practitioners or groups, through the creation of SOPs, to how to implement these protocols and carry out effective infection control within the whole clinic or hospital.

You will learn about the importance of infection control, and will also develop materials to help make it work for you in your individual places of work.

ONCORE are delighted to be working in collaboration with the Bella Moss Foundation for this module, and a donation to BMF will be made for every booking.

All of our courses are 100% online, and run over a set period as a group. You can access the course lectures, guidelines and materials on our friendly learning platform at any time during the course, and complete work at your own pace.

Courses are fully tutored and our discussion-based approach means that you can discuss topics with your peers and share problems and solutions, with the input, guidance and support of your tutor throughout. You will receive feedback on coursework, and all of our CPD is certified as formal/assessed distance learning.

Who is it for?

Vets, vet nurses, students. Those in a leadership position in practice looking to update infection control protocols would also benefit from this course.
