The requirements of senior pets can be extremely varied, with a range of common disorders and diseases being prevalent as pets enter their senior years. Provision of senior pet clinics can enable the practice to provide gold standard preventative health care, and support clients in ensuring they are doing the very best for their pet at their prime of life and beyond.
It is so important that that practices offer preventative healthcare solutions, and have a clear strategy for supporting clients of senior pets, by providing a well-thought out and delivered senior clinics service. Let us help you to achieve that.
This one-week workshop will explore and discuss the main challenges faced by older pets, including dietary issues, cognitive dysfunction, dental disease, renal disease and mobility issues. We will also cover the logistics of running senior pet clinics and how to make them a success in your practice.

Understand the principles and practicalities behind a successful senior pet clinic programme
Understand the different diagnostic and monitoring methods utilised in senior pet clinics for preventative healthcare and maintaining positive health
