Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy is increasingly recognized as having a key role in canine rehabilitation. Recovery from musculoskeletal disorders can be dramatically improved by application of proper technique.
What is physiotherapy in the context of canine rehabilitation? This course explains what is involved in a physiotherapy assessment. We further explore the clinical reasoning process, and of course the indications for physiotherapy. There will be a focus on recognition of musculoskeletal pain in dogs, looking at \\\'typical patients\\\'. A case study discussion will help you understand the day’s concepts.
This is Part One of a three part series on hydrotherapy and physiotherapy.
Who is it for?
This course is recommended for student and qualified veterinary nurses with an interest in rehabilitation medicine.
