This one-day mixed seminar and practical course will cover triage, first-aid, medical and surgical techniques utilised in raptor rehabilitation. Delegates will have the opportunity to perform basic techniques on cadavers under the supervision of an experienced surgeon and will have the opportunity to watch a flying display with various species of raptor.

Who is it for?

This course is designed for rehabilitators and veterinary surgeons with all levels of experience. It will provide invaluable experience for those who are new to avian surgery. The course would also be of value to those veterinary surgeons undertaking further professional qualifications exotic animal medicine. The course may also be suitable for experienced falconers.
