This one day course for nurses aims to discuss risk factors for patient morbidity and mortality under anaesthesia as well as detailing the nurse\'s role in improving anaesthesia safety for our veterinary patients from adequate preparation and patient stabilisation, through to equipment checks, monitoring under anaesthesia and care in the recovery period.
