Aimed at qualified veterinary nurses wishing to further develop their knowledge in medical nursing, this online course will refresh your theoretical knowledge of key areas in medical nursing as well as discuss how medical conditions are nursed. It will help improve your understanding of medical nursing by looking at a range of conditions which are seen in both general and referral hospitals. Causes, nursing considerations and complications of a number of common medical conditions will be discussed.

This course will run for six weeks and will combine a range of a one hour weekly reading tutorial, shared discussion forums including case based approaches and self assessment tasks. This, as well as supplementary reading, will provide a total of 18 hours CPD.
