This 60 minute online CPD tutorial for veterinary nurses discusses parenteral fluid therapy – which is possibly the most commonly used drug therapy in veterinary patients. In order to be able to use this therapy most effectively and safely, it is essential to understand the differences between the common types of fluid available - crystalloids and synthetic colloids - and how best to use them.
