Date: Wednesday 1st November, 2017 - Wednesday 1st November, 2017
Start time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Duration: 2 hour(s)
Cost: £50

Cardiopulmonary arrest can occur due to severe systemic disease or as a result of anaesthesia or sedation in small animal veterinary patients. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation gives these patients a chance of survival but the proportion of patients surviving cardiac arrest and leaving the hospital is sadly low. The RECOVER initiative in 2012 led to the production of evidence-based veterinary specific guidelines as to the best way to manage these patients. This webinar will provide practitioners with the key points, focusing on measures that can be taken in a practice setting to save lives.

This two hour webinar is aimed at both general and advanced practitioners, as well as those enrolled in the CertAVP A module (Foundation of Advanced Veterinary Practice) and emergency and critical care modules. The webinar may be viewed live on the date indicated, or purchased for viewing at a later date. All participants will have access to the webinar for two weeks and receive a copy of the slides so they can review the presentations as many times as desired to embed learning. Participants can earn two CPD hours.
