Start time: 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM
Duration: 4 hour(s)
Cost: £329

Key Areas
•Anaemia in dogs and cats – application of a logical approach to clinical cases and management of common disorders
•Disorders of white blood cells – update on the diagnostic work up, including when and how to take a bone marrow sample
•Approach to the coagulopathic patient in practice – update on common causes, coagulation testing and patient management
•Case based clinical examples of a range of conditions

A variety of haematology cases may be seen in a small animal practice setting, including anaemia as well as white blood cell or platelet disorders. Similarly, disorders of coagulation resulting in abnormal bleeding or thrombosis may also be seen. This Webinar Plus course aims to provide a structured approach to the clinical management of these cases using the latest evidence available to support decision making.

This is an online course that will run over four weeks. Learning materials will be a mixture of two hour weekly webinars (which can be viewed live and/or as recorded versions throughout the course), online case assessment exercises, supplementary reading material and discussion forums.

The course will be of interest to small animal practitioners with an interest in haematology and coagulation cases and would also be useful preparation for the RCVS CertAVP modules in emergency and critical care and small animal medicine. Participants can earn up to 16 CPD hours.
