Septic peritonitis is a life-threatening condition which is often associated with a high mortality rate. This webinar will cover recent updates in the diagnosis and management of the condition to help improve outcomes in a practice setting. A case based example will be used to answer the questions “When should I suspect septic peritonitis, how can I confirm the diagnosis, and how can I best stabilise them for surgery?”
This two hour webinar will take place from 1:00 to 3:00pm GMT including a 30 minute registration and familiarisation period prior to the commencement of the lecture. It is aimed at both general and advanced practitioners seeing these challenging cases in practice, as well as those enrolled in the CertAVP emergency and critical care modules. The webinar may be viewed live on the date indicated, or purchased for viewing at a later date. All participants will have access to the webinar for two weeks and receive a copy of the slides so they can review the presentations as many times as desired to embed learning. Participants can earn two CPD hours.
