Locum Vet Needed 4 Days Per Week For Charity Centre In Cambridgeshire

Lacey is working closely with a charity centre in Cambridgeshire, who are seeking Locum Vet cover from 10th Jan until 8th March.
LOCATION: Cambridgeshire
DATES: Ad hoc dates in January; Wednesday 10th, Wednesday 17th, Friday 19th, Tuesday 23rd, Wednesday 24th, Thursday 25th then from Thursday 1st February- Friday 8th March inclusive
ROTA: 4 days a week with Tuesdays off.
HOURS: 8.30am – 4.30pm only
THE PRACTICE: Located in beautiful countryside, is one of the largest multispecies Shelters in Europe. There is a self-contained veterinary suite, with three operating theatres, and radiography/ultrasound facilities - including dental radiography, to facilitate provision of excellent first opinion veterinary care to the animals from cats and dogs to chickens, guinea pigs and rabbits.
THE ROLE: You will be working alongside the nursing and auxiliary team and oversee final year veterinary students learning day one skills and shelter medicine. Full training can be given on teaching students skills and surgeries. If you have a medical bias then they can work with this also.
Unfortunately there is no accommodation available for this role, but there is a local B&B with very reasonable prices if you needed somewhere to stay.
