Our client has an opportunity for a nurse to join their team on a fixed-term basis for a twelve-month period starting this July.
This is a busy, well-equipped and well-maintained practice with a varied small animal caseload. Located in a historic spa town that is rich in history with fantastic scenic walking trails and breath-taking views this Practice is situated close to the Motorway.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for
- Assisting veterinary surgeons with their medical/surgical duties
- Discharge of in-patients
- Prioritising patient welfare and care
- Running in house lab samples and organising repeat prescriptions
- Consultations
- RCVS
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have a Friendly and Positive attitude towards working as part of a team.
- Monitoring of anaesthesia.
This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time role working 40 hours per week plus 1:4 Saturday mornings 8.30am - 12:00. However, our client is open to being flexible so please enquire if you require adjusted hours.
This role offers a salary up to £30,000 DOE with a range of benefits including,
