If you are looking for a part time role covering nights in the Stockport area then this could be a good option.
The role with our client is for around 22 hours a week in the A&E department of a state of the art Veterinary Hospital. Experience in a small animal practice is a must, alongside an interest in ECC and medicine. The role would be ideal for someone looking to develop their skills and/or achieve further qualifications.
Typical shift patterns (can be flexible and extra shifts will be available is desired):
- 9pm – 9am with a 1-hour break on a 2 week rotation. Week 1 = Tuesday and Wednesday night, Week 2 = Friday and Saturday night.
- Sole charge from 1am – 7.30am (a Vet Surgeon and an auxiliary nurse are on the premises all night).
The role:
- A varied role providing triage and care to A&E patients, assisting Vets with any investigations and/or procedures and taking care of in-patients.
- Support evening receptionists by providing advice and triage to clients calling the hospital. Arranging appointments where appropriate.
** Salary ranging from £18,300 – £21,700
