RCVS Accredited Small Animal Hospital in the West Midlands are currently on the lookout for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the fantastic team made up of Vets, Nurses, and Support Staff. The successful candidate will work between the exotics branch and other small animal surgeries. Experience working with exotic species is ideal but someone with a keen interest to develop in this area would be great too. The rota will include working 5 days per week, 1 full weekend with TOIL and 1 Saturday morning in 6 with a dedicated night team. Flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career. There are 24 Veterinary Surgeons, 30 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 6 Student Veterinary Nurses, 13 Veterinary Auxiliaries, 25 Receptionists, 4 Admin Staff and a team of 6 Managers. Certificate holders in various disciplines (Surgical, Orthopaedic, ophthalmology, cardiology, exotic species, internal medicine) which allows the team to keep a large and varied case load inhouse. The practice also supports numerous local charities. Between the surgeries, offering a CT scanning, digital x-ray, ultrasound, digital dental x-ray, endoscopy, ECG and in house haematology, biochemistry, and blood gases. Located in the West Midlands on the outskirts of Birmingham with all branches have great transport links into Birmingham city centre.
