JR is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their client’s very supportive team and well-established family run practice offering a fantastic atmosphere. Working alongside a great team of Vets, RVN’s, SVN’s and Patient Care Assistants this practice always aims to deliver the most accessible, comprehensive and highest quality of care. Located in a highly sought after area with the motorway just a 5min drive and beautiful sandy beaches within a 20min drive and easy access to transport routes this clinic offers state of the art facilities including Cardiac ultrasound, Dental x-rays, a K-laser, an aseptic theatre and prep room, endoscopes and full in-house lab for bloods, biochemistry and urine, spacious waiting room and consult rooms, separate dog kennels, cattery and exotic ward with lots of exotic cases, including birds, primates, reptiles, snakes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures including exotics, bird and reptiles.
- Develop treatment plans and provide care instructions for clients.
- Prescribe medication.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the support team.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to treat all clients and patients with compassion and care.
- Ability to explain medical plans and situations clearly to clients with empathy and compassion.
This is a Perm, Full Time role. However, our client will consider a part-time role for the right candidate.
This role offers a salary up to £60,000 DOE and wide range of benefits including.
