Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team working alongside the Clinical Director, Head Nurses, Vet Surgeons, RVN’s, SVN’s, PCA’s, CCA’s and the Administration team. Situated within beautiful countryside, with easy access to the Yorkshire Moors National Park, coastline & the local cities. This Clinic has beautiful grounds where you would be able to enjoy breaks & lunches surrounded by flowers and countryside views. Facilities include separate dog, cat, exotic & isolation wards, 3 operating theatres with updated surgical facilities & equipment, an in-house lab, excellent diagnostic imaging facilities, including ultrasound, doppler, digital x ray, range of digital endoscopes, rhinoscopy, arthroscopy and a CT suite along with diagnostic ECG, hydrotherapy, under water treadmill and laser therapy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to the patients and clients
- Provide clear updates to clients regarding their pets
- Prepare tailored treatment plans with clear cost estimates
- Engage, mentor and develop the team, enhancing their skills
- Share best clinical practice
- Experience working effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Good communication skills
This is a Full-Time role with a salary up to £72,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
- 33 days holiday including bank holidays
- Additional ‘Day for You’ to use as you wish
- £1500 CPD per year and 3 days CPD leave
