Our client is looking for a Permanent Part Time Vet Surgeon to join their team working alongside their Branch Manager, 3 vets, 3 RVN’s, a PCA and a CCA. Located in the heart of the retail area, this practice is in a beautiful character building, holding onto character and charm whilst offering high specification, modern facilities and plenty of space for the optimum working environment. Facilities include a theatre equipped with Multiparameter, ECG, Orthopaedic and Laparoscopic equipment, Imaging room with Digital X-ray, Dental X-ray and ultrasound, Isolation Room, In house Laboratory; equipped with imagist, haematology and biochemistry, 3 Consult Rooms, Separate Dog and Cat Wards, Office Space, Large Staff Rest Area and a Client Car Park and Private Staff Car Parking.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Provide first class clinical care through consultations, procedures and monitoring.
- Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of any patient needing out of hours or enhanced care.
- Prepare accurate estimates for clients, ensuring payment and minimising debt.
- Hold engaging clinical meetings with veterinary and nursing teams.
- Provide and Support colleague clinical mentoring / development.
- Minimum of one year of small animal practice experience.
- A client-oriented approach, with excellent communication skills.
- Experience of working with a team to develop a practice.
- Competent in clinical examination and surgery.
- Confident working sole charge.
- A great communicator, you will be an outstanding and positive example to others.
This can be a Perm, Part-Time role just 2 days a week or Full Time 4 days a week.
This role offers a salary up to £60,000 DOE with a range of benefits including,
