Our client is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team working alongside 3 Vets, 5 RVN’s, 3 SVN’s, 3 Receptionists and the Practice Manager so you will feel looked after and appreciated. This team is looking for someone with Veterinary experience and who can be a team player with strong communication skills, as well as shares their passion for providing the highest level of clinical and medical care to their patients. Your days are well structured and include time dedicated to catching up on phone calls, lab results and breaks, this surgery closes daily for lunch, enabling the whole team to rest and eat with a pantry box available so that there is always something even if you forget your lunch. There are Friday treats, fruit or pastries and the team will try to ensure that everyone leaves on time at the end of the day, if a late finish is needed for a patient, or you miss a lunch break for an emergency, then you will get that time back in lieu. With regular team meetings every fortnight as well as clinical vet meetings for case discussions and clinical development there are also monthly 1-2-1 check-ins, with an open-door policy the rest of the time. Situated in a thriving location, this clinic offers state-of-the-art equipment including separate cat, dog and isolation wards, a dedicated nurse consult room and a peripatetic imaging specialist.
Ideally this is a full-time role and 1:5 weekends with time off in lieu however flexible hours can be considered and we are happy to discuss these around what you’re looking for to achieve a good work/life balance.
This role offers a salary up to £60,000 DOE FTE and a range of benefits including
