Our client is looking for a Vet Surgeon who may be looking to take the next step in their career and join their team as a Lead Vet Surgeon. You will play a vital role over seeing the veterinary team ensuring a high level of care is provided to every patient and client. This is a well-equipped, small-town practice with a loyal client base. Using your leadership skills and your clinical expertise you will contribute significantly to the continued success of the growth of this practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Provide leadership and collaboration within the team and work environment.
- Consult and diagnose medical conditions and formulate effective treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of surgeries.
- Prescribe and Provide medication.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in managing caseloads.
- The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A strong sense of empathy and compassion towards animals and their owners with the ability to provide emotional support in difficult situations.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 39 hours per week over 4 days with 1:3 half weekends OR 1:6 full weekends However, our client can be flexible for the right candidate.
This role offers a salary up to £75,000 DOE with a range of benefits including,
