New Graduate Training Position SW London / Surrey

We have an exciting opportunity for a New Graduate Veterinary Surgeon to give the best start their career in small animal practice. We would like you to join our 6 vet, 9 nurse team in SW London/Surrey. We are a modern family-owned first opinion practice providing an excellent standard of clinical care to our patients.

Our clinics have excellent levels of equipment including digital x-ray processors, direct digital dental equipment, endoscopes, video otoscopes, laparoscopes, colourflow Doppler ultrasound, k-laser, orthopaedic equipment and excellent in-house laboratory equipment. This will allow you every opportunity to work up and treat cases to your full potential. Working within a supportive team allows the opportunity to share knowledge and further develop your skills.

Certificate holding veterinary surgeons who have extensive experience of introducing and running graduate schemes will closely train, supervise and mentor the successful candidate over several months until they are capable and confident to work by themselves.

Applicants must be keen to maintaining high levels of both patient and client care. You will be self-motivated with a positive attitude and have a warm and compassionate approach to our patients, clients and team.

Our previous new graduates over the last two years have found the scheme to be very successful continue to work with us and would be very happy to share their experiences should you wish.

The job included weekends on a 1 in 2 Saturday and a fixed day off during the week. Occasional Sunday work is expected on an equally shared rota once the candidate is confident to work by themselves (with ongoing full support)
