VetPro Recruitment are seeking a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly team at a single site practice in Oxfordshire to cover maternity leave. The role will be for a minimum of 12 months, with the possibility of a permanent job at the end of it. Your working day consists of 2 x 2/2.5hr blocks of consults with dedicated admin time in the middle and at the end of your shift and one operating day a week. The only sole charge is at weekends or occasional evenings when you have 2 or 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses and back up if needed. The team works 1 in 6 weekends with TOIL the week before and after, but this isn't an essential part of maternity leave cover. There is no out of hours. You will be joining a fantastic team of 6 experienced Vets, 10 experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, and a fully staffed Reception team. The practice is well-equipped with necessary equipment to provide a high level of clinical care including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and in house Idexx machines. On offer is an excellent package including CPD allowance, paid memberships, and a competitive salary dependent on experience.
