Our client is looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their small animal practice and who is confident with most routine surgery and medicine. Working alongside their well-established Nursing and Reception team this practice offers a busy caseload and a very loyal client base with great facilities including two stunning consult rooms, a theatre, dental and digital x-ray, ultrasound, a K-laser and a pharmacy. Situated in the heart of a beautiful medieval city and located next to a historic and stunning Cathedral. The practice is a short 10-minute walk from the vibrant city centre, boasting outstanding shopping, dining and cultural experiences. Outside of the city you’ll find picturesque, rolling countryside and one of the UK’s favorite landmarks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Deliver exceptional care to all patients and clients
- Prepare accurate estimates for clients ensuring payment and minimizing debt
- Work closely with the practice manager
- Engage, mentor and develop the team, enhancing their skills
- Inspire the team and share your skills and knowledge
- Complete clinical handover transfers for any patients needing out of hours care
- Demonstrate good leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
This is a Perm, Full Time role working 4 days a week with consistent day(s) off as well as working 1:3 Saturdays.
This role offers a salary up to £75,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
