Aqueos Launch New Equine Dental Disinfectants

Aqueos, has launched a specialist anti-microbial mouthwash and instrument cleaner for the equine dental market in partnership with Equine Blades Direct Ltd. The Aqueos solution is a water based disinfectant that contains no alcohol, so therefore also environmentally friendly. It is effective against Strangles, Ringworm and 99.999% of most bacteria, fungi and viruses. Use of the Aqueos products ensures hygiene, thereby minimising the risk of illnesses spreading between animals.
The peppermint flavoured Aqueos Anti-Microbial Mouthwash is harmless to horses and in use it is far less stressful than products traditionally used. Alcohol and bleach free, when diluted it has the same chemical hazard rating as water. Use of Aqueos mouthwash before, during and after dental work reduces the risk of infections. Being alcohol and bleach free Aqueos will not damage or blunt dental instruments. Tested to British Standards EN1276 and EN1650 the instrument cleaner is a powerful but safe disinfectant. The Aqueos Instrument cleaner and disinfectant is also available in a 5 litre bottle which dilutes to 200 litres of ready to use product.
