This weekend saw the opening of two more new Vets4Pets practices; Newton Mearns in Scotland and Rotherham in South Yorkshire, totalling ninety Vets4Pets practices; three of which opened in 2013, a very positive start to the year.
On February 23rd 2013 Vets4Pets Rotherham opened its doors for the very first time with a little bit of help from Vets4Pets’ celebrity friends Ashleigh and Pudsey. A dream come true for new Partner Eric Rouviere (CertSAS GPCertSAS MRCVS).
Vets4Pets have joined forces with Ashleigh and Pudsey to help raise awareness of the importance of preventive pet healthcare and responsible pet ownership.
“I was delighted that the couple could find time in their increasingly busy schedule to help open my new practice. Ashleigh is a model pet owner; her primary concern is for the health, happiness and welfare of Pudsey and she ensures she takes all of the preventative healthcare measures to keep Pudsey in tip top condition”. Eric Rouviere, Vet and Partner at Vets4Pets Rotherham.
Spanish born Vet Eric was passionate about animal care from early childhood and always knew he was going to be a Vet - but owning his own practice is a dream come true!
“I first heard about Vets4Pet a long time ago, but I thought it would be another “corporate” company like the one that I had worked for previously. By chance, during a CPD event, I spoke to another colleague and friend who had just become a JVP with Vet4Pets a few months earlier and she explained how her partner was already a JVP in a another Vets4Pets practice too! We started talking and she explained how Vets4Pets really worked, that it wasn’t like other ‘corporate’groups and how it had a great team spirit. She explained that Partners had total clinical independence and were also were given help and support across all the business aspects of running the practice. Obviously I had to find out for myself, and here I am...having just opened my own practice!" said Eric.
Also on the 23rd February, new Vets4Pets Partner Kirsteen Mille, opened the doors of her brand new practice in Newton Mearns making it Vets4Pets 5th practice in Scotland. Unfortunately Ashleigh and Pudsey were not able to be in two places at the same time, none the less their Gala Open Day was still a great success!
If any Veterinary professionals would like to open their own practice like Eric and Kirsteen, they can contact the Vets4Pets team on 0800 0280 513 or via email [email protected] for an informal chat.2473 views
