Boehringer Launches New Vetmedin® ECPD Portal

Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica has launched a new eCPD portal on its popular Vetmedin website - www.vetmedin.co.uk. The site has been designed to provide veterinary professionals with educational information on canine heart disease, together with resources that can be used in practice. It comprises a number of online tools, downloads and owner materials.

The new site is a one-stop-shop on canine heart disease. The exclusive online tools available include an interactive radiology viewer, the Vetmedin atlas of cardiac radiology, radiology interpretation and diagnosis, an interactive MVD seminar and online downloadable Vetmedin dosage calculator to assist vets in prescribing the optimum dose to their patients.

The owner materials’ section of the portal contains a range of support materials for clients once their dogs have been diagnosed with heart failure. These include an animation explaining how to monitor a dog’s resting respiratory rate, an easy-to-follow video on heart failure and downloadable charts to help owners monitor their dog’s condition.
