Business Consultant Laurie May Joins The Zoetis Equine Team To Support Customers

Photo of Laurie May next to a horse Laurie May The Zoetis equine team in the UK has welcomed an experienced equine business consultant to enhance the range of services offered to equine veterinary practices and trade customers. Laurie May, who took on the role this month, brings to the team a wealth of experience in all aspects of practice performance management and marketing, with particular expertise in the equine sector. Laurie May has been with Zoetis for more than seven years, most recently as a business consultant in the Companion Animal and Equine business unit. In this role, Laurie was responsible for helping veterinary practices improve aspects of their business. Specifically, she helped implement new performance management systems in both small animal and large animal clinics and delivered training to managers aimed at improving leadership, communication and team work. Previously, Laurie was an equine account manager for Pfizer Animal Health in the Midlands, during which time she helped launch the Equine Performance Index and the Equine Growth Service initiatives for the company. In addition to her breadth of practical expertise, Laurie earned a Professional Diploma in Marketing, and is currently a lead lecturer at Derby University Corporate for the Chartered Institute of Marketing Professional Diploma in Marketing. She has a keen interest in digital marketing, and lectures students for the Communications, Advertising and Marketing (CAM) foundation who are studying for their Diploma in Digital Marketing.
