CEVA Animal Health, manufacturer of the leading veterinary behaviour products D.A.P.® and Feliway®, is sponsoring the BVNA’s popular course in companion animal behaviour.

Presented by top behaviourists including Sarah Heath, David Appleby, Dr Anne McBride and Jon Bowen, the course, which takes place at the University of Liverpool’s Leahurst campus, covers a range of interesting subjects including anxieties, fears and phobias, house soiling problems and bizarre behaviour.

Consisting of four modules which are suitable for veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, practice staff and students, the course modules include:
  • Module 1 on Saturday 12 June - Dogs and cats – understanding the difference

  • Module 2 on Sunday 13 June - The front line approach to behavioural problems

  • Module 3 on Saturday 13 November - Common canine conundrums – a common sense approach

  • Module 4 on Sunday 14 November - Frequent feline foibles – a common sense approach
Having completed the four modules, students are awarded a certificate in companion animal behaviour by carrying out an assessment examination by correspondence.

Modules cost from £130 per day for BVNA members and from £155 per day for non-BVNA members. For further information visit www.bvna.org.uk or contact the BVNA on 01279 408644.
